The National Bus Travel Concession Schemes (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Order 2025
Made 27th March 2025
Coming into force 1st April 2025

The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 40(1), (3) and (4) and 52(4) of the Transport (Scotland) Act 2005 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

In accordance with section 52(3) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the National Bus Travel Concession Schemes (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Order 2025 and comes into force on 1 April 2025.
Amendments to the National Bus Travel Concession Scheme for Older and Disabled Persons (Scotland) Order 2006

(1) the National Bus Travel Concession Scheme for Older and Disabled Persons (Scotland) Order 2006 is amended in accordance with this article.
(2) At the end of article 12(2B), insert—“
(p) for the financial year beginning on 1 April 2025 £215,100,000.”.
(3) At the end of article 12(2D), insert—“
(m) 52.9% for the financial year beginning on 1 April 2025.”.
Amendment to the National Bus Travel Concession Scheme for Young Persons (Scotland) Order 2021

After article 12(4C) of the National Bus Travel Concession Scheme for Young Persons (Scotland) Order 2021 , insert—“
(4D) The reimbursement rate for the financial year beginning on 1 April 2025 is—
(a) 47.9% in relation to eligible journeys on eligible services made by eligible persons aged 5 to 15 years old,
(b) 72.4% in relation to eligible journeys on eligible services made by eligible persons aged 16 to 21 years old.”.
