The Access to the Countryside (Coastal Margin) (Sutton Bridge to Skegness) Order 2024

Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3A(10) of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.
Citation, commencement and interpretation
1 

(1) This Order may be cited as the Access to the Countryside (Coastal Margin) (Sutton Bridge to Skegness) Order 2024 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
(2) In this Order—
 “the Act” means the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949;
 “the relevant approvals” means the approval, by the Secretary of State under section 52(1) of the Act on 23rd June 2022 of the—
(a) England Coast Path Sutton Bridge to Skegness Chapter 1, Sutton Bridge to Fosdyke Bridge report;
(b) England Coast Path Sutton Bridge to Skegness Chapter 2, Fosdyke Bridge to Freiston Shore report;
(c) England Coast Path Sutton Bridge to Skegness Chapter 3, Freiston Shore to Gibraltar Point report;
(d) England Coast Path Sutton Bridge to Skegness Chapter 4, Gibraltar Point to Skegness Pier report.
 “the relevant reports” means the reports, submitted by Natural England to the Secretary of State under sections 51 and 55A of the Act on 24th January 2018 entitled—
(a) England Coast Path Sutton Bridge to Skegness Chapter 1, Sutton Bridge to Fosdyke Bridge;
(b) England Coast Path Sutton Bridge to Skegness Chapter 2, Fosdyke Bridge to Freiston Shore;
(c) England Coast Path Sutton Bridge to Skegness Chapter 3, Freiston Shore to Gibraltar Point;
(d) England Coast Path Sutton Bridge to Skegness Chapter 4, Gibraltar Point to Skegness Pier.
End of access preparation period

In relation to land which is coastal margin as a result of the relevant approvals of the relevant reports, the day appointed as the day on which the access preparation period ends is 11th September 2024.
