The Access to the Countryside (Coastal Margin) (Minehead to Combe Martin) Order 2024

Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3A(10) of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.
Citation, commencement and interpretation
1 

(1) This Order may be cited as the Access to the Countryside (Coastal Margin) (Minehead to Combe Martin) Order 2024 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
(2) In this Order—
 “the Act” means the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949;
 “the relevant approvals” means the approval, by the Secretary of State under section 52(1) of the Act on 18th March 2021 of the—
(a) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 1, Minehead to Hurlestone Combe report;
(b) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 2, Hurlestone Combe to Worthy report;
(c) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 3, Worthy to The Foreland report;
(d) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 4, The Foreland to Lynton report;
(e) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 5, Lynton to Woody Bay report;
(f) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 6, Woody Bay to Combe Martin report.
 “the relevant reports” means the reports, submitted by Natural England to the Secretary of State under sections 51 and 55A of the Act on 20th June 2017  entitled—
(a) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 1, Minehead to Hurlestone Combe;
(b) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 2, Hurlestone Combe to Worthy;
(c) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 3, Worthy to The Foreland;
(d) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 4, The Foreland to Lynton;
(e) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 5, Lynton to Woody Bay;
(f) England Coast Path Minehead to Combe Martin Chapter 6, Woody Bay to Combe Martin.
End of access preparation period

In relation to land which is coastal margin as a result of the relevant approvals of the relevant reports, the day appointed as the day on which the access preparation period ends is 30th July 2024.
