The Pensions (2005 Order) (Codes of Practice) (Revocation) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024
Made 13th June 2024
Coming into operation 5th July 2024

The Department for Communities makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 87(1) of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 2005.

The Pensions Regulator consents to the making of this Order as required by Article 87(2) of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 2005.
Citation and commencement
1 
This Order may be cited as the Pensions (2005 Order) (Codes of Practice) (Revocation) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024 and shall come into operation on 5th July 2024.
Revocation of codes of practice

The following Codes of Practice are revoked—
(a) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 1: Reporting breaches of the law;
(b) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 4: Early leavers – reasonable periods;
(c) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 5: Reporting late payment of contributions to occupational money purchase schemes;
(d) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 6: Reporting late payment of contributions to personal pensions;
(e) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 7: Trustee knowledge and understanding (TKU);
(f) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 8: Member-nominated trustees and directors – putting in place and implementing arrangements;
(g) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 9: Internal controls;
(h) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 11: Dispute resolution – reasonable periods;
(i) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 7: Trustee knowledge and understanding (TKU): Second issue;
(j) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 5: Reporting late payment of contributions to occupational pension schemes: Second issue;
(k) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 6: Reporting late payment of contributions to personal pension schemes: Second issue;
(l) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 13: Governance and administration of occupational trust-based schemes;
(m) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 14: Governance and administration of public service pension schemes;
(n) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 13: Governance and administration of occupational trust-based schemes providing money purchase benefits: Second issue.
