The National Health Service (Liabilities to Third Parties Scheme) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2023

Coming into force 11th July 2023

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 71 and 272(7) and (8) of the National Health Service Act 2006.

In accordance with section 71(1) of that Act, these Regulations are made with the consent of the Treasury.
Citation, commencement and extent

These Regulations—
(a) may be cited as the National Health Service (Liabilities to Third Parties Scheme) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2023;
(b) come into force on 11th July 2023; and
(c) extend to England and Wales.
Amendment of the National Health Service (Liabilities to Third Parties Scheme) (England) Regulations 2018

(1) The National Health Service (Liabilities to Third Parties Scheme) (England) Regulations 2018 are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 4, in paragraph (1)—
(a) after sub-paragraph (j) omit “and”;
(b) at the end of sub-paragraph (k) insert—“, and
(l) the Commissioner for Patient Safety”.
