Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2)
The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(3), 41(1)(b) and (2)(a) and (b) of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012, makes the following Regulations.
Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Legal Aid (Remuneration) (Amendment) Regulations 2023.
(2) These Regulations come into force on the same day as and immediately following the coming into force of section 56(3) of the Illegal Migration Act 2023.
(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.
Amendments to the Civil Legal Aid (Remuneration) Regulations 2013

(1) Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Civil Legal Aid (Remuneration) Regulations 2013 is amended as follows.
(2) At the end of the heading in Table 7(d) (Immigration and Asylum hourly rate cases), insert “(except where Table 7(da) applies)”.
(3) After Table 7(d) (Immigration and Asylum hourly rate cases) insert—“
