The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 98 and 105 of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
Citation and commencement
1 
These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2022 and come into force at 5.00 p.m. on 16 June 2022.
Amendment of the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) (Scotland) Regulations 1989

In schedule 1 (diseases for the treatment of which no charge is to be made) of the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) (Scotland) Regulations 1989—
(a) in the appropriate alphabetical position insert “Monkeypox”,
(b) in the appropriate alphabetical position insert “Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)”,
(c) omit “Wuhan novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV)”.
