The Crofting Register (Scotland) Amendment Rules 2012

Laid before the Scottish Parliament 29th November 2012
Coming into force 13th January 2013

The Scottish Ministers make the following Rules in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 19(1) and 53(2)(a) of the Crofting Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

In accordance with section 19(1), they have consulted the Keeper of the Registers of Scotland and the Crofting Commission.
Citation and commencement

These Rules may be cited as the Crofting Register (Scotland) Amendment Rules 2012 and come into force on 13th January 2013.
Amendment to the Crofting Register (Scotland) Rules 2012

(1) The Crofting Register (Scotland) Rules 2012 are amended as follows.
(2) In rule 6 (forms of application for registration in the Crofting Register)—
(a) in paragraph (3), for “24(1)” substitute “24(1)(b);
(b) in paragraph (4), for “26(1)(a)” substitute “24(1)(a)”; and
(c) in paragraph (5), for “26(1)(b)” substitute “25(1)”.
(3) In the Schedule, in the table of the list of forms to be used in connection with registration—
(a) in the second column, in the entry for Form C, after “common grazing” insert “(other than a new common grazing)”; and
(b) in the third column—
(i) in the entry for Form C, for “24(1)” substitute “24(1)(b)”;
(ii) in the entry for Form D, for “26(1)(a)” substitute “24(1)(a)”; and
(iii) in the entry for Form E, for “26(1)(b)” substitute “25(1)”.
(4) In the Schedule, in Form C—
(a) for the title of that form substitute—“”; and
(b) in the words in bold type immediately below the title of that form, after “Common Grazing” insert “(other than a new Common Grazing)”.
