The Disease Control (England) (Amendment) Order 2007

Coming into force 24th August 2007
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 8(1) of the Animal Health Act 1981, makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1 
This Order may be cited as the Disease Control (England) (Amendment) Order 2007 and comes into force on 24th August 2007.
Amendment
2 

(1) The Disease Control (England) Order 2003 is amended as follows.
(2) After article 3, insert—“
Emergency measures
3A. 

(1) This article imposes interim measures and ceases to have effect on 30th September 2007.
(2) In articles 4 and 5(b), the references to 6 days shall be read as references to 20 days.
(3) In the case of premises within a sole occupancy group that are 8 or more kilometres apart, paragraph 8 of Schedule 1 and paragraph 13 of Schedule 2 apply on the first occasion that an animal is moved between those premises, but cease to apply for any subsequent movement of any animal between those premises.”.
