The Veterinary Surgery (Artificial Insemination) (Amendment) Order 2007

Coming into force 13th July 2007
The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Secretary of State for Scotland, the Secretary of State for Wales and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 19(4)(e) of the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and now vested in them and after consultation with the Council of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, make the following Order:
Title and commencement

This Order—
(a) may be cited as the Veterinary Surgery (Artificial Insemination) (Amendment) Order 2007; and
(b) comes into force on 13th July 2007.
Amendments to the Veterinary Surgery (Artificial Insemination) Order 2007

(1) The Veterinary Surgery (Artificial Insemination) Order 2007 is amended as follows.
(2) For article 1(1)(b) substitute—“
(b) applies in the United Kingdom save for Part 2 which applies in England and Scotland only; and”.
(3) In article 3(2)(b) omit “, the Scottish Ministers”.
(4) In article 8(1)(a)(i) for “and” substitute “or”.
