The International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 1991

The Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2(1) and (5), 3 and 20 of the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Act 1976, and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

These Regulations shall come into force on 13th December 1991 and may be cited as the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 1991.

For the definition of “ATP” in regualtion 2 (Interpretation and transitional provision) of the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Regulations 1985 there shall be substituted the following definition—“
 “ATP” means the Agreement on the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs and on the Special Equipment used for such carriage (ATP) concluded at Geneva on 1st September 1970 as amended pursuant to article 18 of the agreement and as further amended pursuant to that article by an amendment to Annex 1 which came into operation on 15th May 1991 and by amendments to appendices 1 and 2 of Annex 1 which came into operation on 6th July 1989, 30th September 1990 and 13th December 1991 and an amendment to Annex 2 which came into operation on 28th March 1991.”
