The St Ives (Pilotage) Harbour Revision Order 1988
Made 18th August 1988
Coming into force 1st October 1988
The Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Harbours Act 1964 and now vested in him and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and on the application of the Penwith District Council in accordance with section 7(5) of the Pilotage Act 1987 hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and Commencement
1 
This Order may be cited as the St Ives (Pilotage) Harbour Revision Order 1988 and shall come into force on 1st October 1988.
Interpretation

In this Order—
“the Harbour” means the Harbour of St Ives as described in section 33 of the St Ives Harbour Act 1853; “signed plan” means the plan signed in triplicate by an Under Secretary at the Department of Transport, two copies of which have been deposited at that Department and one copy of which has been deposited at the offices of the Penwith District Council, Council Offices, St Clare, Penzance, Cornwall TR18 3QW.
Extension of Limits of Jurisdiction for Purposes of Pilotage

The limits within which the Harbour Authority shall have jurisdiction for the purposes of pilotage under Part 1 of the Pilotage Act 1987 shall include (in addition to the Harbour) the area coloured pink on the signed plan, being so much of the area within an imaginary straight line from Browther Rock (latitude 50° 13'.857 N. longitude 5° 29'.660 W) to Godrevy Point (latitude 50° 14'.414 N. longitude 5° 23'.56 W).
