(1) This Order may be cited as the Code of Practice (Requests for Flexible Working) Order 2024.
(2) This Order extends to England and Wales and Scotland.
(3) In this Order “the revised Code of Practice” means the document entitled “Code of Practice on Requests for Flexible Working” issued by ACAS on 11th January 2024 and published on the ACAS website.

The revised Code of Practice comes into effect on 6th April 2024.

The revised Code of Practice does not apply to applications made under section 80F of the Employment Rights Act 1996 on or before 5th April 2024 except that any such application will be taken into account in determining whether an employee is prevented from making an application by section 80F(4) of that Act.
