These Regulations may be cited as the Charities (References in Documents) (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2024 and come into force on 1 June 2024.

(1) The Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisations Regulations 2011 are amended as follows.
(2) The heading of regulation 9 (name and status) becomes “Specified documents”.
(3) After regulation 9, insert—“
10. 
In addition to its name and the fact that it is a SCIO as required by section 52(1) to (3) of the 2005 Act, a SCIO must state in legible characters on all documents listed in regulation 9 issued or signed by, or on behalf of, the SCIO on or after 1 June 2024—
(a) the registered number allocated to it by OSCR as part of the registration process, and
(b) its working name (if any).”.

In regulation 2(1)(c) of the Charities References in Documents (Scotland) Regulations 2007 (required information) for “any other name by which it is commonly known” substitute “its working name (if any)”.
