This Order may be cited as the Access to the Countryside (Coastal Margin) (Aust to Brean Down No. 2) Order 2023 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

(1) In relation to land which is coastal margin as a result of the relevant approval, the day appointed as the day on which the access preparation period ends is 19th July 2023.
(2) In paragraph (1), “the relevant approval” means the approval by the Secretary of State under section 52(1) of the Act of the relevant reports on the 23rd of June 2022 for length 1 and the 9th July 2020 for lengths 2-5.
(3) In paragraph (2), “the relevant reports” means the reports titled “ABD 1: Severn Bridge to New Passage”, “ABD 2: New Passage to New Pill Gout”, “ABD 3: New Pill Gout to Avonmouth Bridge”, “ABD 4: Avonmouth Bridge to Portishead Marina” and “ABD 5: Portishead Marina to Wain’s Hill, Clevedon” submitted by Natural England to the Secretary of State under sections 51 and 55A of the Act on 25th July 2019.
(4) In this article, “the Act” means the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949.
