This Order may be cited as the Access to the Countryside (Coastal Margin) (Cleveleys to Pier Head No. 1) Order 2023 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

(1) In relation to land which is coastal margin as a result of the relevant approval, the day appointed as the day on which the access preparation period ends is 9thMay 2023.
(2) In paragraph (1), “the relevant approval” means the approval by the Secretary of State under section 52(1) of the Act of the relevant reports on 31st August 2021.
(3) In paragraph (2), “the relevant reports” means the reports titled “CPH 4: Tarleton Lock to Southport beach car park”, “CPH 5: Southport beach car park to Cabin Hill National Nature Reserve” and “CPH 6: Cabin Hill National Nature Reserve to Pier Head, Liverpool” submitted by Natural England to the Secretary of State under sections 51 and 55A of the Act on 7th October 2020.
(4) In this article, “the Act” means the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949.
