(1) This Order may be cited as the Broxtowe (Electoral Changes) Order 2023.
(2) This article and article 2 come into force on the day after the day on which this Order is made.
(3) Article 3 comes into force—
(a) for the purpose of proceedings preliminary or relating to the election of councillors, on 1st April 2023;
(b) for all other purposes, on the ordinary day of election of councillors in England in 2023.
(4) Article 4 comes into force—
(a) for the purpose of proceedings preliminary or relating to the election of councillors, on 15th October 2024;
(b) for all other purposes, on the ordinary day of election of councillors in England in 2025.
(5) This Order extends to England and Wales but applies in relation to England only.

In this Order “the Council’s Order” means the Broxtowe (Re-organisation of Community Governance) Order 2022.

(1) The area that ceases to be part of the parish of Kimberley and becomes part of the parish of Awsworth by virtue of the Council’s Order ceases to be part of the Kimberley district ward and becomes part of the Awsworth, Cossall & Trowell district ward.
(2) The area that ceases to be part of an unparished area and becomes part of the parish of Cossall by virtue of the Council’s Order ceases to be part of the Nuthall East & Strelley district ward and becomes part of the Awsworth, Cossall & Trowell district ward.
(3) The area that ceases to be part of the parish of Greasley and becomes part of the parish of Awsworth by virtue of the Council’s Order, ceases to be part of the Greasley district ward and becomes part of the Awsworth, Cossall & Trowell district ward.
(4) Each area that—
(a) ceases to be part of the North parish ward of the parish of Stapleford; and
(b) becomes an unparished area,
by virtue of the Council’s Order, ceases to be part of the Stapleford North district ward and becomes part of the Bramcote district ward.
(5) The unparished area that becomes part of the parish of Stapleford by virtue of the Council’s Order ceases to be part of the Bramcote district ward and becomes part of the Stapleford North district ward.
(6) The area that ceases to be part of the parish of Stapleford and becomes part of the parish of Trowell by virtue of the Council’s Order, ceases to be part of the Stapleford North district ward and becomes part of the Awsworth, Cossall & Trowell district ward.
(7) The area that ceases to be part of the South East ward of the parish of Stapleford and becomes part of an unparished area by virtue of the Council’s Order, ceases to be part of the Stapleford South East district ward and becomes part of the Bramcote district ward.
(8) The area that ceases to be part of the parish of Trowell and becomes part of the parish of Stapleford by virtue of the Council’s Order, ceases to be part of the Awsworth, Cossall & Trowell district ward and becomes part of the Stapleford North district ward.

(1) The area that ceases to be part of the parish of Kimberley and becomes part of the parish of Awsworth by virtue of the Council’s Order ceases to be part of the Nuthall & Kimberley county electoral division and becomes part of the Stapleford & Broxtowe Central county electoral division.
(2) The area that ceases to be part of the parish of Greasley and becomes part of the parish of Awsworth by virtue of the Council’s Order, ceases to be part of the Greasley & Brinsley county electoral division and becomes part of the Stapleford & Broxtowe Central county electoral division.
(3) Each area that—
(i) ceases to be part of the parish of Stapleford; and
(ii) becomes an unparished area,by virtue of the Council’s Order, ceases to be part of the Stapleford & Broxtowe Central county electoral division and becomes part of the Bramcote & Beeston North county electoral division.
(4) The unparished area that becomes part of the parish of Stapleford by virtue of the Council’s Order, ceases to be part of the Bramcote & Beeston North county electoral division and becomes part of the Stapleford & Broxtowe Central county electoral division.
