(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Immigration and Asylum (Provision of Services or Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations 2023.
(2) These Regulations come into force on 15th January 2024.
(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

(1) The Immigration and Asylum (Provision of Services or Facilities) Regulations 2007 are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2 (interpretation)—
(a) in the definition of “ante-natal eligible period”, for “eight weeks” substitute “eleven weeks”;
(b) in the definition of “maternity payment”, omit “of £250”;
(c) in the definition of “post-natal eligible period”, for “six weeks” substitute “six months”.
(3) In regulation 6 (one-off supply of vouchers for pregnant women and new mothers), for “£250” substitute “£300” in each place in which it occurs.
(4) In regulation 7 (additional weekly vouchers for pregnant women and children under three)—
(a) in the heading, for “three” substitute “four”;
(b) in paragraph (1), for “£3” substitute “£5.25”;
(c) in paragraph (2), for “£5” substitute “£9.50”;
(d) in paragraph (3)—
(i) for “third birthday” substitute “fourth birthday”;
(ii) for “£3” substitute “£5.25”.
