
Article 1 
In section 2 of the Annex to Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006, the following entries 2.8 and 2.8.1 are added:

‘2.8 Citrinin 
2.8.1 Food supplements based on rice fermented with red yeast Monascus purpureus 2 000

Article 2 
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
It shall apply from 1 April 2014.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.Done at Brussels, 6 March 2014.
