There shall be issued out of the Consolidated Fund . . .  at such times as the Treasury may direct and shall be paid to the States of Jersey or the States of Guernsey sums equal to any sums paid into the Exchequer on or after the first day of April, ninteen hundred and forty-seven, on account of hereditary revenues of the Crown which have accrued in the island of Jersey or the island of Guernsey, as the case may be.
The reference in this section to the island of Guernsey includes a reference to the island of Jethou.
