It shall be lawful for the legislature of any of Her Majesty’s possessions abroad to enact by any law or ordinance, to be by them made in the usual manner, that where any person, being feloniouslycriminally stricken, poisoned, or otherwise hurt at any place within the limits of such possession, shall die of such stroke, poisoning, or hurt upon the sea or at any place out of the limits of such possession, every offence committed in respect of any such case, whether the same shall amount to the offence of murder or of manslaughter, or of being accessory before the fact to murder, or after the fact to murder or manslaughter, may be dealt with, inquired of, tried, determined, and punished in the possession within the limits of which such stroke, poisoning, or hurt shall happen, in the same manner in all respects as if such offence had been wholly committed within the limits of such possession; or such legislature may enact, by any such law or ordinance to be made as aforesaid, to the like effect.
