(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Governance (Scotland) Act 2004 (Remuneration) Amendment (Amendment) Regulations 2025 and come into force on 31 March 2025.
(2) In these Regulations “the 2007 Regulations” means the Local Governance (Scotland) Act 2004 (Remuneration) Regulations 2007.

(1) The Local Governance (Scotland) Act 2004 (Remuneration) Amendment Regulations 2025 are amended in accordance with paragraph (2)
(2) In regulation 2 (amendment of the Local Governance (Scotland) Act 2004 (Remuneration) Regulations 2007)—
(a) in paragraph (3), in entry (a) of the table to be substituted in regulation 7(2) (remuneration of the Civic Head) of the 2007 Regulations, for “£37,458” substitute “£37,548”,
(b) in paragraph (5), in entry (a) of the table to be substituted in regulation 9(3) (amount of remuneration of Senior Councillors) of the 2007 Regulations, for “£37,458” substitute “£37,548”,
(c) after paragraph (6) insert—“
(6A) In regulation 12 (joint boards)—
(a) in paragraph (8) (which concerns the total yearly amount to be paid to the convener of a joint board) for “£26,686” substitute “£28, 207”,
(b) in paragraph (9) (which concerns the total yearly amount to be paid to the vice-convener of a joint board)—
(i) omit “of” where it second occurs,
(ii) for “£25,352” substitute “£26,797”.”.
