(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service Pension Scheme (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2016.
(2) These Regulations come into force on 1st April 2016 and have effect from 1st April 2015.

The National Health Service Pension Scheme (Scotland) Regulations 2015 are amended as follows.

In regulation 27 (pensionable earnings)—
(a) in paragraph (1), for the Table substitute—“

(a) for the scheme year 2015/16 is the percentage specified in column 2 of Table 1 below in respect of the corresponding pensionable earnings band specified in column 1 into which M’s pensionable earnings fall; and
(b) for the scheme year 2016/17 is the percentage specified in column 2 of Table 2 below in respect of the corresponding pensionable earnings band specified in column 1 into which M’s pensionable earnings fall.”;
(ii) for “Table: Scheme Year 2015/16”, substitute “Table 1”; and
(iii) at the end, insert—“

In regulation 31 (members’ contributions: practitioners and non-GP providers)—
