These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Free Prescriptions and Charges for Drugs and Appliances) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2015 and come into force on 17th May 2015.

(1) The National Health Service (Free Prescriptions and Charges for Drugs and Appliances) (Scotland) Regulations 2011 are amended in accordance with this regulation.
(2) In regulation 2(1) (interpretation)—
(a) omit the definition of “the 2000 Regulations”; and
(b) after the definition of “the 2009 Regulations” insert—“
 “the 2015 Regulations” means the National Health Service (Charges for Drugs and Appliances) Regulations 2015;”.
(3) In regulation 3(2) (supply of drugs and appliances)—
(a) in sub-paragraph (a)—
(i) for “the 2000 Regulations” substitute “the 2015 Regulations”;
(ii) for “1st April 2014” substitute “1st April 2015”;
(b) in sub-paragraph (b)—
(i) omit the words “and each quantity of drug”;
(ii) for “the 2000 Regulations” substitute “the 2015 Regulations”;
(iii) for “1st April 2014” substitute “1st April 2015”; and
(c) after sub-paragraph (b) insert—“
(c) in respect of the supply of each quantity of a drug, the charge that is specified in regulation 3(1)(c) of the 2015 Regulations as in force at 1st April 2015.”.

The following Regulations are revoked—
(a) the National Health Service (Free Prescriptions and Charges for Drugs and Appliances) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2012;
(b) the National Health Service (Free Prescriptions and Charges for Drugs and Appliances) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2013; and
(c) the National Health Service (Free Prescriptions and Charges for Drugs and Appliances) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2014.
