(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Amendment No.2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 and come into operation on 13th May 2015.
(2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954  shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Northern Ireland Assembly.

The Misuse of Drugs Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002  are amended as follows.

In paragraph 1(a) of Schedule 1 (which specifies controlled drugs subject to the requirements of regulations 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 26 and 27)—
(a) after “4-Bromo-2,5-dimethoxy-a-methylphenethylamine” insert—“1-Cyclohexyl-4-(1,2-diphenylethyl)piperazine (MT-45)”;
(b) after “4-Methyl-aminorex” insert—“4-Methyl-5-(4-methylphenyl)-4, 5-dihydrooxazol-2-amine (4,4’-DMAR)”.
