
Article 1 
The active substance 8-hydroxyquinoline, as specified in Annex I, is approved subject to the conditions laid down in that Annex.
Article 2 
The Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 is amended in accordance with Annex II to this Regulation.
Article 3 
This Regulation shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
It shall apply from 1 January 2012.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.Done at Brussels, 6 October 2011.

PART A Only uses as fungicide and bactericide in greenhouses may be authorised.

PART B For the implementation of the uniform principles, as referred to in Article 29(6) of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009, the conclusions of the review report on 8-hydroxyquinoline, and in particular Appendices I and II thereof, as finalised in the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health on 15 July 2011 shall be taken into account.
In this overall assessment Member States shall pay particular attention to the operator safety and shall ensure that conditions of use include the application of adequate personal protective equipment, where appropriate.
The applicant shall submit confirmatory information on 8-hydroxyquinoline and its salts as regards:

((1)) the method of analysis for air;
((2)) a new storage stability covering the storage time periods of samples from both the metabolism study and from the supervised reidue trials.
The applicant shall submit to the Commission, the Member States and the Authority such information by 31 December 2013.
