(1) This Order may be cited as the Wild Birds (Special Protection in Severe Weather) (Scotland) (No. 3) Order 2010 and comes into force on 24th December 2010.
(2) This Order extends to Scotland only.

(1) The period beginning at 0000 hours on 24th December 2010 and ending at 2359 hours on 6th January 2011 is declared as a period of special protection for those birds included in Part I of Schedule 2 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, and which are specified in the Schedule to this Order, with respect to the part of Great Britain specified in paragraph (2).
(2) The part of Great Britain specified for the purposes of this Order is Scotland.
