These By-Laws may be cited as the Motor Hackney Carriages (Belfast) (Amendment) By-Laws (Northern Ireland) 2009 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2009.

In the Schedule to the By-Laws made in respect of Motor Hackney Carriages standing or plying for hire made by the Council of the County Borough of Belfast on 4th June 1951 for the entry for Glengall Street substitute—“
GLENGALLSTREET North Side: from a point 31 metres east of the east kerbline of Durham Street for a distance of 14 metres. Carriages shall stand in a single line by the kerbline and parallel therewith, facing east. 2 At any time
   
 South Side: from a point 73 metres east of the east kerbline of Durham Street for a distance of 32 metres. Carriages shall stand in a single line by the kerbline and parallel therewith, facing east. 5 At any time”
