These Regulations may be cited as the Plant Protection Products (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2007 and come into force on 27th September 2007.

The Plant Protection Products (Scotland) Regulations 2005 are amended in accordance with regulations 3 and 4.

In regulation 2 (interpretation)–
(a) in paragraph (1), for the definition of “the Directive”, substitute–“
 “the Directive” means Council Directive 91/414/EEC concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market;”;
(b) for paragraph (2)(b), substitute–“
 any reference to a numbered Annex shall be construed as a reference to the Annex so numbered of the Directive and in particular any reference to Annex I shall be construed as a reference to Annex I, as amended from time to time.”.

Schedule 1 is revoked.
5 
The Plant Protection Products (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2007 are revoked.
