(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Legal Aid (Financial Conditions) (Scotland) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 9th April 2007.
(2) In these Regulations, “the Act” means the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986.

These Regulations shall apply only in relation to any case where an application for civil legal aid is made on or after 9th April 2007.

For the yearly amount of £9,781 specified in section 15(1) of the Act, substitute the yearly amount of £10,074.

For the capital amount of £11,070 specified in section 15(2)(a) of the Act, substitute the capital amount of £11,402.

For the yearly amount of £2,995 specified in section 17(2)(a) of the Act, substitute the yearly amount of £3,085.
6 
For the capital amount of £6,640 specified in section 17(2)(b) of the Act, substitute the capital amount of £6,879.
7 
The Civil Legal Aid (Financial Conditions) (Scotland) Regulations 2006 are hereby revoked except in relation to any case where an application for civil legal aid is made to the Scottish Legal Aid Board before 9th April 2007.
