(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Legal Aid (Financial Conditions) (Scotland) Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 10th April 2006.
(2) In these Regulations, “the Act” means the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986.

These Regulations shall apply only in relation to any case where an application for civil legal aid is made on or after 10th April 2006.

For the yearly amount of £9,570 specified in section 15(1) of the Act substitute the yearly amount of £9,781.

For the capital amount of £10,779 specified in section 15(2)(a) of the Act substitute the capital amount of £11,070.

For the yearly amount of £2,931 specified in section 17(2)(a) of the Act substitute the yearly amount of £2,995.
6 
For the capital amount of £6,465 specified in section 17(2)(b) of the Act substitute the capital amount of £6,640.
7 
The Civil Legal Aid (Financial Conditions) (Scotland) Regulations 2005 are hereby revoked except in relation to any case where an application for civil legal aid is made to the Scottish Legal Aid Board before 10th April 2006.
