This Order may be cited as the Breeding Flocks, Hatcheries and Animal By-Products (Fees) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004 and shall come into operation on 26th April 2004.

In this Order –
 “the Breeding Flocks Scheme” means the Poultry Breeding Flocks and Hatcheries Scheme (Northern Ireland) 1994; and
 “the Regulations” means “the Animal By-Products Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003”.

There shall be paid to the Department in respect of the transactions specified in column (2) of the Schedule the fees specified opposite thereto in column (3), such fees being payable within 14 days of demand.
4 
The Breeding Flocks, Hatcheries and Animal Protein (Fees) Order (Northern Ireland) 1994 is hereby revoked.

3. Testing by the Department of composite faeces samples taken from breeding flocks under paragraph 5(1)(a) of, and paragraph 2(d) of Part I of Annex 2 to, the Breeding Flocks Scheme. £9·00 (£5·80)
4. Testing by the Department of samples taken from poultry in hatcheries under paragraph 7(1)(a) of, and Part II of Annex 2 to, the Breeding Flocks Scheme, in the case of –  
 
(a) a composite meconium sample; £7·80 (£5·80)
 
(b) the carcases of chicks dead in shell (up to a maximum of 50); £23·42 (£11·05)
 
(c) the carcases of chicks hatched from eggs (up to a maximum of 50). £23·42 (£11·05)
5. Inspection of a laboratory which has applied for authorisation for the purposes of the Breeding Flocks Scheme, or the Regulations, or both, for –

6. Application Fee for the purposes of the Breeding Flocks Scheme, and/or the Regulations, consisting of –
