These Regulations may be cited as the Dangerous Substances and Preparations (Safety) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 18 January 2003.

Schedule 2 to the Dangerous Substances and Preparations (Safety) (Consolidation) Regulations 1994 is hereby amended as follows—
(a) under the heading “Carcinogenic substances of Category 1”—
(i) after the entry relating to salts of biphenyl-4-ylamine; salts of xenylamine; salts of 4-aminobiphenyl in the first column, there shall be inserted the entry set out in Part 1 of the Schedule hereto;
(ii) after the entry relating to erionite in the first column, there shall be inserted the entry set out in Part 2 of the Schedule hereto; and
(b) under the heading “Carcinogenic substances of Category 2”, after the entry relating to hydrazine bis (3-carboxy-4-hydroxybenzensulfonate) in the first column, there shall be inserted the entry set out in Part 3 of the Schedule hereto.
