(1) This Order may be cited as the Teddington, Twickenham and Hamptons Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Amendment and Change of Name Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st April 2002.
(2) In this Order “the Order” means the Teddington, Twickenham and Hamptons Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Order 2001;and “the trust” means the trust established by the Order.

(1) The trust shall be called the Richmond and Twickenham Primary Care Trust instead of the Teddington, Twickenham and Hamptons Primary Care Trust, and accordingly in article 1 of the Order in the definition of “the trust”, and in article 2 of the Order, for the words “Teddington, Twickenham and Hamptons” there shall be substituted the words “Richmond and Twickenham”.
(2) The change of name effected by paragraph (1) shall not—
(a) affect any right or obligation of any person; or
(b) be taken as invalidating any instrument (whether made before, on or after the day on which this Order comes into force) which refers to the trust by its previous name;
and all instruments and other documents which refer to the trust under its previous name shall be construed as if referring to it under its new name.

(1) The Order shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.
(2) In article 4—
(a) in paragraph (1) for “5” in both places where it occurs there shall be substituted “6”; and
(b) in paragraph (3)(c) for “2” there shall be substituted “3”.
(3) For the Schedule, there shall be substituted the following Schedule—“

In the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames—
 the electoral wards of Barnes, Central Twickenham, East Sheen, East Twickenham, Ham and Petersham, Hampton, Hampton Hill, Hampton Nursery, Hampton Wick, Heathfield, Kew, Mortlake, Palewell, Richmond Town, South Twickenham, Teddington, West Twickenham, Whitton.
