This Order may be cited as the Londonderry Port and Harbour (Variation of Pilotage Limits) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002 and shall come into operation on 17th February 2003.

(1) The limits within which Londonderry Port and Harbour Commissioners shall have jurisdiction for the purposes of pilotage under Part I of the Pilotage Act 1987 shall include (in addition to the existing harbour) the area shown on the map bounded by–
(a) a straight line drawn from reference point Latitude 55° 11.60 North, Longitude 006° 57.90 West (Magilligan Point) to reference point Latitude 55° 13.60 North, Longitude 006° 51.00 West (marked (b) on the map);
(b) a straight line drawn from reference point Latitude 55° 13.60 North, Longitude 006° 51.00 West to reference point Latitude 55° 15.50 North, Longitude 006° 51.00 West (marked (c) on the map);
(c) a straight line drawn from reference point Latitude 55° 15.50 North, Longitude 006° 51.00 West to reference point Latitude 55° 15.50 North, Longitude 006° 55.30 West (marked (d) on the map);
(d) a straight line drawn from reference point Latitude 55° 15.50 North, Longitude 006° 55.30 West to reference point Latitude 55° 14.20 North, Longitude 006° 55.30 West (marked (e) on the map).
(2) In this Article “harbour” means the harbour at Londonderry as described in section 57 of the Londonderry Port and Harbour Act 1854. “The map” means the map marked “Londonderry Port and Harbour (Variation of Pilotage Limits) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002” which has been signed and sealed with reference to this Order and deposited at the office of the Department for Regional Development, Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast BT2 8GB.
