(1) This Order may be cited as the Lowestoft Primary Care Trust Change of Name and (Establishment) (Amendment) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st January 2002.
(2) In this Order “the Order” means the Lowestoft Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Order 2000;and “the trust” means the trust established by the Order.

(1) The trust shall be called the Waveney Primary Care Trust instead of the Lowestoft Primary Care Trust, and accordingly in article 1 of the Order in the definition of “the trust”, and in article 2 of the Order, for the word “Lowestoft” there shall be substituted the word “Waveney”.
(2) The change of name effected by paragraph (1) shall not—
(a) affect any right or obligation of any person; or
(b) be taken as invalidating any instrument (whether made before, on or after the day on which this Order comes into force) which refers to the trust by its previous name;
and all instruments and other documents which refer to the trust under its previous name shall be construed as if referring to it under its new name.

(1) The Order shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.
(2) In article 4(1) of the Order for “5 non-officer members” there shall be substituted “7 non-officer members”.
(3) For the Schedule, there shall be substituted the following paragraphs.“

 In the district of Waveney—
 the electoral wards of Beccles Town, Beccles Worlingham, Blything, Bungay, Carlton, Carlton Colville, Gunton, Halesworth, Harbour, Kessingland, Kirkley, Lothingland, Mutford, Normruston, Oulton Broad, Pakefield, St Margaret's, South Elmham Southwold, Wainford, Whitton.
 In the district of South Norfolk—
 the electoral wards of Ditchingham, Marshland, Waveney.
 In the district of Suffolk Coastal—
 the electoral wards of Bramfield and Cratfield, Walberswick.
