(1) This Order may be cited as the A43 Trunk Road (M1 Junction 15A Enhancement) Order 2001 and shall come into force on the 20th April 2001.
(2) In this Order all measurements of distance are measured along the routes of the relevant highway.

The new highway which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the route described in the Schedule to this Order shall become a trunk road as from the date when this Order comes into force.

The centre line of the new trunk road is indicated by a heavy black line on the plan numbered HA 65/30/04, marked “The A43 Trunk Road (M1 Junction 15A Enhancement) Order 2000”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions and deposited at the Highways Agency, St. Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE.

THE SCHEDULE

The route of the trunk road is about 190 metres in length and connects two roundabouts on the A43 Trunk Road which are located to the east and west of the M1 Motorway, at Milton Ham in the County of Northamptonshire. The route runs underneath the M1 Motorway.
