(1) This Order may be cited as the Budget (Scotland) Act 2000 (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2001 and shall come into force on the day following that on which it is made.
(2) In this Order, “the 2000 Act” means the Budget (Scotland) Act 2000.

(1) The 2000 Act is amended as follows.
(2) In section 4(1) (capital expenditure of local authorities etc.) for “£626,571,000” there is substituted “£626,568,000”.
(3) In Schedule 1–
(a) in column 1, in entry number 11 (Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service), “the provision of grant in aid to certain Scottish Universities which undertake post mortem examinations on behalf of the Crown” is omitted; and
(b) the amounts specified in columns 2 and 4 are amended in accordance with Schedule 1 to this Order.
(4) In Part 11 of Schedule 2 (Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service)–
(a) in column 1 of the table, in entry number 1, “in respect of notional capital charging” is omitted; and
(b) for “£500,000” there is substituted “£600,000”.
(5) In Schedule 3, the amounts specified in columns 2 and 4 are amended in accordance with Schedule 2 to this Order.
