(1) This Order may be cited as the Welfare Reform and Pensions (1999 Order) (Commencement No. 9) Order (Northern Ireland) 2001.
(2) In this Order, “the Order” means the Welfare Reform and Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1999 and any reference to a numbered Article or Schedule is to the Article of, or Schedule to, the Order bearing that number.

The day appointed for the coming into operation of—
(a) the provisions of the Order specified in Part I of the Schedule, is 1st January 2002; and
(b) the provisions of the Order specified in Part II of the Schedule, is 1st February 2002.
