(1) This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Transit Visa)(Amendment) Order 2000.
(2) Articles 1, 3 and 4 of this Order shall come into force on 25th May 2000, and article 2 shall come into force on 14th June 2000.
(3) In this Order, “the 1993 Order” means the Immigration (Transit Visa) Order 1993.

(1) After article 1 of the 1993 Order there shall be inserted—“

In this Order, “EEA State” means a country which is a Contracting Party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area signed at Oporto on 2nd May 1992 as adjusted by the Protocol signed at Brussels on 17th March 1993.”.
(2) In article 2(b) of the 1993 Order, for the words “a member State of the European Communities” there shall be substituted “an EEA State”.

For the Schedule to the 1993 Order there shall be substituted the Schedule to this Order.

The Immigration (Transit Visa)(Amendment) Order 1999 is hereby revoked.
