(1) This Order may be cited at the East Riding Health Authority (Change of Name) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 1st June 2000.
(2) In this Order—
 “the Establishment Order” means the Health Authorities (England) Establishment Order 1996;
 “the Authority” means the Health Authority established by article 2 of the Establishment Order for the area described in column (2) of the Schedule to that Order as the counties of East Riding of Yorkshire and the city of Kingston-upon-Hull.

(1) The name by which the Authority are known is changed to East Riding and Hull Health Authority.
(2) In column (1) of the Schedule to the Establishment Order, for the entry “East Riding Health Authority” substitute “East Riding and Hull Health Authority”.

The change of name under this Order shall not—
(a) affect any right or obligation of any person; or
(b) be taken as invalidating any instrument (whether made before, on or after the day on which this Order comes into force) which refers to the Authority by its previous name, and all instruments and other documents which refer to the Authority under its previous name shall be construed as referring to it under its new name.
