This Order may be cited as the Greater London Authority (Assembly Constituencies and Returning Officers) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 22nd December 1999.

For the purposes of Part I (the Greater London Authority) of the Greater London Authority Act 1999—
(a) the Assembly constituencies shall be the areas, and shall be known by the names, specified in columns (1) and (2), respectively, in the following Table; and
(b) as regards each such constituency, the person who is for the time being the returning officer in relation to other local government elections in the borough specified in relation to that constituency in column (3) of the Table shall also be the returning officer at any election in that constituency of a constituency member of the London Assembly:
