This Order may be cited as the University College London Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1999 and shall come into force on 2nd September 1999.

For article 3 of the University College London Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1996 (functions of the trust) there shall be substituted the following article–“

(1) The trust is established for the purposes specified in section 5(1)(b) of the Act.
(2) The trust’s functions shall be to provide and manage hospital accommodation and services (including the management of its teaching and research facilities) and to provide and manage other establishments and facilities at:
(i) St. Martin’s House, 140 Tottenham Court Road, London W1P 9LN,
(ii) The Middlesex Hospital, Mortimer Street, London W1N 8AA,
(iii) The Eastman Dental Hospital, 256 Gray’s Inn Road, London WC1X 8LD,
(iv) The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London WC1N 3BG,
(v) The Obstetric Hospital, Huntley Street, London WC1E 6AU,
(vi) Cecil Fleming House, Grafton Way, London WC1E 6DB,
(vii) The United Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Hospital and Hospital for Women (Soho), 144 Euston Road, London NW1 2AP,
(viii) the site known as “the Odeon Site”, Grafton Way, London WC1E 6DB, and
(ix) a site bordering Euston Road, Gower Street, Tottenham Court Road and Grafton Way, London WC1,and at any other associated hospitals, establishments or facilities.”.
