(1) This Order may be cited as the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission (Application to Summary Proceedings) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 1999.
(2) In this Order, “the 1995 Act” means the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995.

Part XA of the 1995 Act shall apply in relation to convictions, sentences and findings made in summary proceedings as it applies in relation to convictions, sentences and findings made in solemn proceedings.

In section 194B(1) of the 1995 Act–
(a) after “indictment” there is inserted “or complaint”; and
(b) after “Part VIII” there is substituted “or, as the case may be, Part X”.
