This Order may be cited as The Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) Partial Revocation (Scotland) Order 1999 and shall come into force at 14.00 hours on 13th October 1999.

In this Order “the principal Order” means The Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (Scotland) Order 1999.

The principal Order is revoked insofar as it–
(a) applies to Queen scallops of the class ofchlamys opercularis in Areas 1 and 2 described in the Schedule to this Order being areas within the area bearing the letter A described in paragraph 1 of the Schedule to the principal Order; and
(b) prohibits the fishing for or taking of any such scallops or their movement; or restricts their use, landing, supply or possession for supply or feeding to any creature.

Article 3
AREA 1The area of water below low water springs enclosed by a line starting from a point at 57°17.53'N 5°55.425'W; then south south-east to 57°16.895'N 5°55.2'W; then west to 57°16.875'N 5°55.49'W; then north along the east coast of Scalpay to the start point.

AREA 2The area of water below low water springs enclosed by a line starting from a point at 57°15.815'N 5°55.080'W; then south east to 57°15.422'N 5°54.395'W; then south west to a point on Skye at 57°15.355'N 5°54.5'W; then north west along the east coast of Skye to a point at 57°15.742'N 5°55.190'W; then north east to the start point.
