This Order may be cited as the Warwickshire Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1998 and shall come into force on 7th December 1998.

For article 3 of the Warwickshire Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1993 (nature and functions of the trust) there shall be substituted the following article:–“

(1) The trust is established for the purposes specified in section 5(1) of the Act.
(2) The trust’s functions shall be–
(a) to own and manage pursuant to section 5(1)(a) of the Act:
(i) Nuneaton Ambulance Station, Newton Road, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV11 4HR
(ii) Dordon Ambulance Station, Watling Street, Dordon, Staffordshire, B78 1TE
(iii) Rugby Ambulance Station, Brownsover Lane, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV21 1HL and
(iv) Warwick Ambulance Station, Montague Road, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 5UV
and from there to provide and manage ambulance and associated transport services and such other services relating to the provision of care as can reasonably be carried out in conjunction therewith; and
(b) to provide and manage pursuant to section 5(1)(b) of the Act:
(i) Ambulance Service Headquarters, Dale Street, Leamington Spa, CV32 5HH,
(ii) Stratford Ambulance Station, Masons Road, Stratford, Warwickshire CV37 9NA, and
(iii) Ambulance Control Centre and Vehicle Compound, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University Hospital Birmingham National Health Service Trust, Vincent Drive, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B15 2TH
and from there to provide and manage ambulance and associated transport services and such other services relating to the provision of care as can reasonably be carried out in conjunction therewith.”.
