(1) This Order may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating (Rural Settlements) (England) (No. 2) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 15th December 1998.
(2) In the Schedule to this Order references to grid lines are to lines on the Ordnance Survey National Grid.

There are designated as rural areas for the purposes of section 42A (rural settlement lists) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 the parishes and other areas named or described in the second column of the Schedule in the counties named in the first column.
