This Order may be cited as the Calderdale Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1997 and shall come into force on 24th March 1997.

In Article 3 of the Calderdale Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992 (functions of the trust) –
(a) in paragraph (1) for “section 5(1)(a)” there shall be substituted “section 5(1)(b)”; and
(b) for paragraph (2) there shall be substituted the following new paragraph:—“
(2) The trust’s functions shall be –
(a) to provide and manage hospital accommodation and services at all or any of the following hospitals –
 Halifax General Hospital, Salterhebble, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX3 0PW,
 Northowram Hospital, Northowram, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX3 7JW
 Royal Halifax Infirmary, Free School Lane, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX1 2YP,and at any other premises which are for the time being associated with any of those hospitals; and
(b) to manage community health services provided from all or any of the hospitals referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above and to provide the associated premises.”
