These regulations may be cited as the Motor Cars (Driving Instruction) (Amendment) Regulations 1997 and shall come into force on 1st April 1997.

The Motor Cars (Driving Instruction) Regulations 1989 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions.

After regulation 9 there shall be inserted—“
9A 
There is prescribed for the purposes of section 129(1)(b) of the Act the part of the examination that consists of the instructional ability and fitness test.”.
4 
In regulation 13, for the Table at the end, there shall be substituted the following Table—“
