(1) This Order may be cited as the Social Security Administration (Fraud) Act 1997 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1997.
(2) In this Order, references to “the Act” are references to the Social Security Administration (Fraud) Act 1997 and, except where the context otherwise requires, references to sections and Schedules are references to sections of, and Schedules to, the Act.

The day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Act specified in the Schedule to this Order is 1st July 1997.
